Patients with enteric hyperoxaluria hyperabsorb oxalate from their diet. In healthy
individuals, only a minority of ingested oxalate is absorbed (~10%). However, this
percentage increases to 10%–30% among patients with enteric hyperoxaluria [

]. Known and modifiable determinants of oxalate absorption from the diet include the
