Effect of a Mobile Health Patient Engagement Tool for Postoperative care of Bariatric Surgery Patients

      Engaging patients in self-care processes can increase self-awareness in their recovery process. This may lead to earlier recognition of postoperative concerns, prompting patients to seek appropriate medical help earlier. The objective of this pilot study was to develop a mobile app to help patients manage their recovery at home after bariatric surgery.
